The winery

Headstrong, bold, uncompromising

Since 1997 we have been making wines in Stetten that taste of where they come from. Biodynamic in the vineyard, patient in the cellar.

Riesling

Riesling first

Riesling is our most important grape, making up 65 percent of our vines. We plant our own massal selections: in winter we cut wood from selected old vines and grow new vines from it. This is where the complexity of our wines begins.

All grapes are selectively hand-picked.

In the vineyard

Close to nature is not enough

We use no mineral fertilisers and no chemical pesticides. Instead, we strengthen soil and vines with compost preparations, rock flours, plant extracts and teas.

Calendula, mallow, borage and clover grow between the rows. Our vineyards are full of life.

Controlled non-intervention

We ferment all our wines spontaneously, using only the yeasts from our own vineyards. The wines are given plenty of time to ferment and mature, and are bottled late.

Our red wines mature in large, old wooden casks.

Taste for yourself

The best way to get to know our wines is in our wine shop.
